Forge apps for Jira & Confluence Cloud

Small apps that close big gaps in Jira.

Zovle builds focused, Forge-native apps for Jira and Confluence Cloud, and rebuilds the custom add-ons teams lose when they leave Data Center.

  • Built on Atlassian Forge
  • Runs on Atlassian’s infrastructure
  • Your data stays in your site

Apps

Each app solves one problem.

Atlassian’s public tracker holds thousands of open feature requests from Cloud customers, some with more than a thousand votes. We pick the ones with the clearest pain and build one focused app for each.

App 01

In development

First app

  • Built on Forge, no Connect modules
  • Data kept in Atlassian’s hosted storage
  • Free trial through the Atlassian Marketplace
  • Support from the engineer who wrote it

Cloud migration

Leaving Data Center? Bring your custom add-ons with you.

Atlassian Data Center reaches end of life on 28 March 2029. Data migrates with Atlassian’s tools. Custom user macros, in-house plugins and scripts usually do not, and that is where workflows break after go-live.

  1. 01 Add-on assessment

Free 30-min call + written list

Send us your list of apps, macros and scripts. We mark which have Cloud equivalents, which need rebuilding, and which can go.

Best if you are planning a migration and do not yet know what will break.

    Book the call

  2. 02 Add-on rebuild

    Fixed Quoted before work starts

Your custom macro or plugin rebuilt on Forge, installed privately on your Cloud site and tested against your real content. Source code handed over.

Best if a custom add-on runs a workflow your team cannot lose.

    Describe the add-on

  3. 03 Custom Forge app

    Fixed Quoted before work starts

Panels, dashboards and custom fields. Workflow validators and automation actions. Integrations with your other systems.

Best if Cloud almost fits, apart from one thing your team needs every day.

    Describe what you need

  4. 04 Ongoing care

    Monthly After handover

Updates when Atlassian changes its APIs. Security and dependency fixes. Small changes as your process changes.

Best if you want someone accountable once the app is live.

    Ask about care

Terms

A fixed price, agreed in writing before any work starts. Custom code is yours. We rebuild your own add-ons; we never copy another vendor’s product.

How we build

An app inside Jira has to earn trust.

Read the security details

  1. Forge, not servers.

Apps run on Atlassian’s own platform, so there is no Zovle server holding your data.

  2. Least privilege.

An app asks only for the permissions its feature needs, and says why.

  3. Fast at scale.

Tested against large instances before release, not just a demo project.

  4. Feels native.

Atlassian’s design system throughout, so the app looks like part of Jira.

  5. Honest limits.

If Cloud cannot do something, we say so before you buy, not after.

About

Built and supported by one engineer.

Zovle is run by Mohammed Furquan, a software engineer based in Hyderabad, India. When you email support, you reach the person who wrote the code.

Before Zovle, he designed, built and still runs Wheelness, a multi-tenant operations platform. The disciplines it depends on, listed here, go into every Zovle app.

See the founder’s work

Tenant isolation
Five user roles share one Postgres database, separated by row-level security
Permissions
Enforced on the server, never in the browser
Payments
Confirmed only by the payment gateway’s signed webhook
In production
Running since 2026, with more than 5,000 operations logged
Before Zovle
Four production systems shipped

Questions

Common questions.

Something else? Email [email protected].

Are your apps built on Forge?

Yes. Every Zovle app is built on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s own app platform, with no Connect modules. The app runs on Atlassian’s infrastructure instead of a server we operate.

Where does my Jira or Confluence data go?

By default it stays inside Atlassian. Our apps store what they need in Forge’s hosted storage, tied to your site. If an app ever needs to send data anywhere else, its Marketplace listing and our security page say so before you install it.

Is your first app available yet?

Not yet. It is in development and will be listed on the Atlassian Marketplace when it ships. Email [email protected] if you want early access.

Can you rebuild an add-on we use on Data Center?

If it is your own custom add-on, user macro or script, yes. If it is a third-party Marketplace app, we first check whether its vendor already offers a Cloud version, and point you to it. We do not clone other vendors’ products.

Who owns the code for custom work?

You do. A custom Forge app we build for you is yours, with the source handed over at the end, installed only on your site.

Where are you based?

Hyderabad, India. We work with teams anywhere, mostly in writing, with calls arranged across time zones.
